DAL MAKHNI

ingredients...

[1] black dal (200 grms).
[2] rajma(15-20).
[3] tomatoe puree(of 2 tomatoes).
[4] fresh cream(2 tbl spoon).
[5] salt.
[6] pepper.
[7] ginger garlic paste(1-2 tbl spoon).
[8] red chilli powder.
[9] jeera powder..
method..
soak the dal nd rajma overnite..next morning cook it in the cooker for almost 1-1.5 hrs..(first 3-4 whistles on fast gas den slow gas..u will have to do it twice as the water will get over in the middle so half hour each..in short till the dal becomes a bit reddish) smash it..in another pan take oil put ginger garlic paste..tomatoes nd the masala xcept the cream..then put the cooked dal in it nd let it boil..adjust the masala's as per ur taste then put half of the cream..nd lwt it boil for 7-8 mins...b4 serving top it with the left over cream nd serve with naan or paratha..
