Mutter Paneer


Ingredients...
[1] 1 cup paneer cubes.
[2] 2 cups cooked green peas.
[3] 3 tablespoons tomato ketchup.
[4] Salt to taste.
[5] 4 tablespoons yogurt.
[6] 1 teaspoon ginger paste.
[7] 1 teaspoon garlic paste.
[8] 2 table spoons oil.
For the onion paste...

[1] 2 medium onions sliced
[2] 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin seeds
[3] 3 sticks of cinnamon
[4] 3 cloves
[5] 3 peppercorns
[6] 2 teaspoons coriander powder
[7] 1/4th teaspoon turmeric powder
[8] 3 tablespoons oil
Method...
Heat the oil and fry the onions and the spices for a minute or two. Grind into a paste. Heat the oil, add the ginger and garlic paste. Now add the onion paste. Add the tomato ketchup and fry for a little while. Add the salt and yogurt and let it simmer for a few minutes. Now add the green peas and paneer. Garnish with garam masala, and freshly chopped coriander leaves. Serve with jeera rice or naan
