shahi paneer
Ingredients:-
[1]Paneer (cottage cheese) - 1/4 Kg
[2]Yogurt - 1/4 cup
[3]Milk - 1/2 cup
[4]Tomatoes - 4 no's chopped
[5]Onions - 4 no's chopped
[6]Ginger - 1 inch chopped
[7]Green chillies - 2 no's chopped
[8]Cardamoms - 2 crushed
[9]Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
[10]Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoon
[11]Tomato puree - 2 tablespoon
[12]Butter - 2 tablespoon
[13]Salt to taste
Method:-
Chop paneer into 2 inches lengthwise.. Heat some butter,add onion, ginger, green chilli and cardamom,fry for 3-4 minutes.. Add tomatoes and cook till oil starts seperating, now add curd(Yogurt) and cook for another 5 minutes.. Cool it and blend in a mixer till smooth.. Heat remaining butter , add blended gravy and other ingredients except milk and paneer,boil to get a very thick gravy.. Just before serving, heat gravy, add milk and paneer pieces and boil for 5 minutes.. Garnish with chopped coriander and grated paneer.. Enjoy Shahi Paneer with naan's and chapaties...
